Unicorn is always bringing in from Cambodia “ZnShine 405W BoB” modules if you are looking for residential solutions. In addition, we have “NEP Nothern Electric” 600-800W dual max microinverter along with the modules. Also, we presently have 17MWs out of 22MWs on hold in Cambodia, waiting for a customer to purchase them.
For the commercial and utility markets, we have two Tier 1 manufacturers, “ZnShine 540-550W” and “AE Solar 540W.” We are currently purchasing the products for our customers. These have a 6 to 10-week turnaround, depending on the quantity and time of year. The inverters we are using to complement the PV modules are PCS (bidirectional inverters). We have an array of options from China and International brands. If you are interested, contact us, and we have a form to fill in so we can find the best solution for you.
When we are preordering your modules, the answers to questions we want to know are: Wattage? Do you want a bifacial single glass or bifacial dual glass? Cable length: Is MC4 compatible ok? What is the zip code for the delivery address? Also, when do you want these panels to arrive at the site?
We have several options for batteries, inverters, and AI, but the top two on our list are CATL and Gotion solutions. CATL is the largest in the world. It has modular solutions with a 372KWh version and a 3.72 MWh version depending on the project’s need for space and flexibility. The 372KWh version can support 600-1500V systems. The 3.72 MWh can support, 1500V systems.
Next is the Gotion, which is another excellent choice. It has both an air-cooled version and a liquid-cooled version. The prior one was the work-horse of the industry for the last years and was very stable. The sizes are 2.7 MWh and 3.38 MWh for the two versions. The liquid-cooled version will be available in 2023. Gotion has support teams here in California. Their pricing is an advantage. Gotion is partially owned by Volkswagen, which speaks volumes about the technology and support. Delivery is Q2 if placing an order now. Again, pricing is cheaper compared to CATL.
